Shoulder Pain

Shoulder pain includes any pain that arises in or around your shoulder. Shoulder pain may originate in the joint itself, or from any of the many surrounding muscles, ligaments or tendons. Shoulder pain usually worsens with activities or movement of your arm or shoulder.  The shoulder relies alot on muscular stability to hold the humerus into the shoulder joint. If the muscles are dysfunctional due to injury or over use this will lead to the stability of the joint to be compromised, and this can lead to further injury and pain.

Myotherapy will aim to reduce trigger points and muscular tightness in the shoulder and surrounding muscles to increase the function of the joint.  Myotherapy can give exercise programs to help strengthen the shoulder and decrease the dysfunction
